Diogelu yn Ysgol Gymraeg Parc y Tywyn
Yn Ysgol Gymraeg Parc y Tywyn, mae diogelwch a lles pob plentyn wrth galon popeth a wnawn. Rydym yn ymrwymo i greu amgylchedd diogel a chefnogol lle mae plant yn teimlo’n ddiogel, yn cael eu gwrando arnynt ac yn cael eu gwerthfawrogi.
Mae holl staff, llywodraethwyr a gwirfoddolwyr yr ysgol yn rhannu’r cyfrifoldeb dros ddiogelu. Mae unrhyw bryderon am blentyn yn cael eu cofnodi ar ein system ddiogel My Concern ac yn cael eu dilyn ar unwaith gan ein tîm diogelu.
Ein harweinwyr dynodedig ar gyfer diogelu yw:

Mewn rhai achosion, bydd y Swyddog Diogelu Dynodedig (SDD) neu’r Dirprwy SDD yn cysylltu â’r Tîm Cyfeirio Canolig (CRT) i gael cyngor. Ar ôl trafod gyda nhw, efallai y byddwn yn ffurfioli pryderon drwy gwblhau Ffurflen Atgyfeirio Amlasiantaeth (MARF), sy’n cael ei hanfon at CRT. CRT fydd yn penderfynu a oes angen cymorth pellach ac, os felly, yn trefnu’r gefnogaeth amlasiantaeth berthnasol. Oherwydd natur sensitif rhai pryderon, efallai na fydd bob amser yn bosibl siarad â rhieni yn gyntaf.

Safeguarding at Ysgol Gymraeg Parc y Tywyn
At Ysgol Gymraeg Parc y Tywyn, the safety and wellbeing of every child is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel secure, listened to, and valued.
All staff, governors and volunteers share responsibility for safeguarding. Any concerns about a child are recorded on our secure system My Concern and followed up immediately by our safeguarding team.
Our designated safeguarding leads are:

- Mrs Angharad Griffiths (ALNCo)
- Mr Mathew Davies (Chair of Governors)
In some cases, the DSO or Deputy DSO will contact the Central Referral Team (CRT) for advice. Following a discussion with them, we may formalise concerns by completing a Multi-Agency Referral Form (MARF), which is sent to CRT. CRT then decides whether further support is required and, if so, will organise the relevant multi-agency support. Due to the sensitive nature of some concerns, it may not always be possible to speak with parents first.

Operation Encompass
Rydym yn rhan o Operation Encompass
Mae Operation Encompass yn sicrhau bod galwad ffôn syml neu hysbysiad i Arweinydd / Swyddog Diogelu Dynodedig hyfforddedig ysgol (a elwir yn Oedolyn allweddol) cyn dechrau'r diwrnod ysgol nesaf ar ôl i ddigwyddiad o heddlu fynychu cam-drin domestig lle mae plant yn gysylltiedig â y naill neu'r llall o'r partïon oedolion dan sylw. Mae Operation Encompass yn bartneriaeth diogelu gwybodaeth gynnar gan yr heddlu ac addysg sy'n galluogi ysgolion i gynnig cefnogaeth ar unwaith i blant sy'n profi cam-drin domestig.
We are part of Operation Encompass
Operation Encompass ensures that there is a simple telephone call or notification to a school’s trained Designated Safeguarding Lead /Officer (known as key Adult) prior to the start of the next school day after an incident of police attended domestic abuse where there are children related to either of the adult parties involved. Operation Encompass is a police and education early information safeguarding partnership enabling schools to offer immediate support to children experiencing domestic abuse.
