Gwersi offerynnol

Fel y gwyddoch mae disgyblion yr ysgol yn ffodus iawn bod hyfforddiant mewn amrediad i wersi offerynnol ar gael iddynt.

Mae Corff Llywodraethol yr ysgol yn gwerthfawrogi'r cyfleoedd hyn ac yn dymuno i bob disgybl gael mynediad mewn modd  cynaliadwy. Felly mae tymor cyntaf y gwersi yn rhad ac am ddim fel y gall disgyblion gael rhagflas ar gyfer yr offeryn, ond o'r ail dymor ymlaen, pe byddech chi'n dymuno i'ch plentyn dderbyn hyfforddiant cerddoriaeth peripatetig, bydd yn ofynnol i chi wneud cyfraniad ariannol. Pwysleisiaf y bydd hwn yn gyfraniad a bydd yr ysgol yn ysgwyddo'r rhan fwyaf o'r gost.

Y cyfraniad gofynnol fydd £ 50: 00 y disgybl yr offeryn y

tymor, a bydd y taliadau'n cael eu gwneud ar ddechrau pob    tymor. Mae hyn yn £150 y flwyddyn @ 39 wythnos = £ 3: 85 yr wythnos. Bydd y disgyblion hynny sy'n derbyn Prydau Ysgol Am Ddim yn talu cost is o 50%. Mae hwn yn dâl o £25 y tymor

A gaf i dynnu eich sylw at y materion canlynol:

· ni roddir unrhyw ad-daliad pe bai'ch plentyn yn colli gwers.

· ni roddir unrhyw ad-daliad pe bai'ch plentyn yn penderfynu rhoi'r gorau i'r offeryn yn ystod y tymor.

· ni roddir unrhyw ad-daliad pe bai'r athro peripatetig yn absennol am gyfnod rhesymol o amser (pe bai unrhyw salwch tymor hir, bydd disgwyl i'r awdurdod ddarparu athro cyflenwi dros dro)

· ni roddir unrhyw wersi i unrhyw ddisgybl oni bai bod    contract a chyfraniad wedi dod i law.

· mae disgwyl i'ch plentyn ymarfer gartref.

· bydd eich plentyn yn derbyn offeryn gan y sir ar fenthyg tra bydd eich plentyn yn derbyn gwersi. Mae hyn i'w ddychwelyd pan fydd y plentyn yn gadael Ysgol Parc y Tywyn neu os daw gwersi i ben.

Instrumental lessons

Dear Parent / Guardian

As you are aware, the pupils in the school are fortunate in being offered a range of instrumental lessons.

The Governing Body of the school value these opportunities and wish for all pupils to have access in a sustainable manner. The first term of lessons therefore are free so that pupils can have a taster for the instrument however from the second term onwards, should you wish for your child to receive peripatetic music tuition, there will be a requirement for you to make a financial  contribution. I emphasise that this will be a contribution and the school will be shouldering most of the cost.

The required contribution will be £50:00 per pupil per instrument per term, the payments being made at the beginning of each term.  This is £150 a year @39 weeks = approx £3:85 a week.

Those pupils in receipt of Free School Meals will pay a reduced cost of 50%. This is a charge of £25 per term (approx £1:93 a week)

May I draw your attention to the following issues:

· there will be no reimbursement should your child miss a lesson.

· there will be no reimbursement should your child decide to discontinue the instrument during the term.

· there will be no reimbursement should the peripatetic teacher be absent for a reasonable length of time (should there be any long-term illness, the authority will be       expected to provide temporary cover)

· there will be no lessons for any pupil unless a contract and contribution have been received.

· your child is expected to rehearse at home.

· your child will receive an instrument from the county on loan whilst your child is in receipt of lessons. This is to be return when the child leaves Ysgol Parc y Tywyn or if     lessons end.
