Bydd yr ysgol yn cau ar Ddydd Gwener 20.03.2020 yn sgil penderfyniad y Gwenidog Addysg i gau ysgolion. Byddwn yn cadw mewn cysylltiad gyda chi trwy'r app TheSchoolApp.

Rwy'n poeni am anfon fy mhlentyn i'r ysgol. A oes cyngor penodol mewn perthynas ag ysgolion?

I am concerned about sending my child to school. Is there specific advice in relation to schools?

 

Rydym yn sylweddoli bod pryder ynghylch y Coronafeirws Newydd (COVID-19).

Gallwn sicrhau rhieni a disgyblion ein bod yn parhau i dderbyn cyngor gan Iechyd Cyhoeddus Cymru a'n bod yn cymryd pob cam priodol i atal y feirws rhag lledaenu. Yr hyn sy'n cael ei ddweud wrthym ar hyn o bryd yw bod y risg i'r cyhoedd yn dal yn isel.

Cyngor gan Iechyd Cyhoeddus Cymru am Coronafeirws (COVID-19) 

Rydym yn gwerthfawrogi cydweithrediad disgyblion a rhieni i helpu i atal heintiau rhag lledaenu.

Hylendid da yw'r ffordd orau o'u hatal ac mae rhai camau syml y gallwch eu cymryd i'ch diogelu chi a'ch teulu. Mae’r rhain yn cynnwys:

  • Golchi dwylo'n aml gyda sebon a dŵr am o leiaf 20 eiliad, neu ddefnyddio diheintydd dwylo sy'n cynnwys o leiaf 60% alcohol os nad oes sebon a dŵr ar gael.
  • Ceisio osgoi cyffwrdd â'r llygaid, y trwyn a'r geg os nad ydych wedi golchi eich dwylo.
  • Defnyddio hances bapur i orchuddio eich ceg a'ch trwyn wrth beswch neu disian, ac yna ei thaflu i'r bin cyn golchi eich dwylo'n syth.

 

Beth i'w wneud os oes gennych symptomau Coronavirus?(diweddarwyd 12.03.2020)

Dylech aros gartref am 7 diwrnod os oes gennych naill ai:

  • tymheredd uchel – 37.8 gradd neu’n uwch

  • Peswch parhaus newydd

Peidiwch â mynd i feddygfa meddyg teulu, fferyllfa nac ysbyty. Nid oes angen i chi gysylltu â 111 i ddweud wrthyn nhw eich bod chi'n aros gartref.

Os oes angen i chi aros gartref dilynwch gyngor hunan ynysu'r GIG.

Ni ddylech gysylltu â 111 oni bai:

  • rydych chi'n teimlo na allwch chi ymdopi â'ch symptomau gartref
  • mae eich cyflwr yn gwaethygu
  • nid yw'ch symptomau'n gwella ar ôl 7 diwrnod

 

 

We appreciate there is a level of concern about Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Parents and pupils should be reassured that we continue to take advice from Public Health Wales and are taking all appropriate measures to prevent the spread of the virus. We are advised that at this time the risk to the general public remains low.

We appreciate the cooperation of pupils and parents to help prevent the spread of infections.

Good hygiene is the best prevention and there are some simple steps you can take to protect you and your family. These include:

  • Washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or using an alcohol-based hand sanitiser that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water is not available
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
  • Cover coughs or sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the bin and wash hands immediately

 

What to do if you have symptoms of Coronavirus?

(updated 12.03.2020)

You should stay at home for 7 days if you have either:

  • a high temperature : 37 degrees or higher
  • a new continuous cough

Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you're staying at home.

If you have need to stay at home follow the NHS self isolation advice.

You should only contact 111 if:

  • you feel you cannot cope with your symptoms at home
  • your condition gets worse
  • your symptoms do not get better after 7 days

Gall symptomau eraill gynnwys:

  • dolur gwddf
  • teimlo'n anhwylus yn gyffredinol

Gall coronafeirws achosi symptomau mwy difrifol mewn pobl sydd â systemau imiwnedd gwan, pobl hŷn, a'r rhai sydd â chyflyrau hirdymor fel diabetes, canser a chlefyd cronig yr ysgyfaint.

Os ydych yn poeni bod gennych y symptomau, y cyngor a roddir yw cysylltu â'ch meddyg teulu, Galw Iechyd Cymru ar 0845 46 47 neu NHS Direct ar 111.

 

Typical symptoms can include:

  • fever
  • shortness of breath
  • cough

Other symptoms may include:

  • Runny nose
  • headache
  • sore throat
  • generally feeling unwell.

The coronavirus can cause more severe symptoms in people with weakened immune systems, older people, and those with long-term conditions like diabetes, cancer and chronic lung disease.

If you are concerned that you may have symptoms, you are advised to contact your GP, NHS Direct Wales on 0845 46 47 or NHS Direct on 111.
